Clarinet Marmelade (2) The December Band 1965.

Obviously at the warm-up session without the crowd The December Band recorded strictly for the purpose of making a film.
This is the bands second attempt to record Clarinet Marmelade. No goofs this time. Four senior musicians from New Orleans were there when this kind of music was born. They are Kid Thomas Valentine tpt, Big Jim Robinson tbne, Capt. John Handy alto sax and Sammy Penn drums.
The local Connecticut musicians are Bill Sinclair pno, Dick Griffith bjo, Dick McCarthy bass and Sammy Rimington clt.
Later on the band recorded during their concert. A selection of two CDs is available from GHB Records.
