@longgoneday5 i dont know anymore about crocheting that you do but what i found that helped make the border a littler more snugg was to just continue the bored a few more times around till its more tight. . . .Hope this helped

Did I miss the video on how to completely close off the original color and how to start the new color? How do you do that?

As some who had no clue about crocheting i've completed this project and proud to say it looks great..Just one question : when i finish with the border stitch is there a way to decrease the stitches a little bit so it sits tighter on the head?
