i watch your video and actually you didnt try to use navigation bar when u do search at the end , bc if you do most likely you still get the same crap in you home page . i find one simple solution for myself .

how about uninstalling firefox and reinstalling it again ??

it worked perfectly fine for me it took me only few minutes (i didnt really worry about my bookmarks etc.)
