2) Please compare cars from the same era. Doesnt make sense to compare a car from 2005 with one from ten years earlier does it? Really thats like saying my computer now is better than your that still runs microsoft 95...really

ok i like volvos, but im a VAG guy myself so i love that Audi. and i know for fact that the Audi won that race. if you look closly and compare the cones next to the cars you will see that the Audi is ahead at the end.

@OmarRavenhurst If you watch some other videos you will see how the RS2 can be launched, the RS2's turbo is lethargic under 3500 RPM. This Audi driver was taking it easy on the line as he didn't drop the clutch and launch at start like the Volvo did. These cars take off like a bat out of hell when launched right, even stock but if it's chipped or bigger turbo, injectors ++ they are ridiculous. Getting all four tires loose and coming off the line sideways with that 5 pot bark is just priceless

The RS2 was not officially available in Imola Yellow but was available as a special order and is very rare. Audi also made 3 Pearl White RS2's as well.

@perfoodleschnitz over here they where never sold with awd, only the 1997-2000 volvo s/v70, they look pretty much the same as the 850 but the difference is that they have different headlights and the interior is different.

But maybe the last 850's in other country's did have awd, but i never heard of it. And i work with volvo's all day, so if they where in this country i would probably have heard about it.

@gabbermaikel 850s were sold with AWD in 1997 ONLY.

I agree with the comment on awd etc. I own a Saab aero v6 with hitch upgrade and it's quicker than turbo-x as turbo x has the wad system weighing it down

@Romandiesel 850 is never sold with AWD as far as i know, so it just has FWD

and the volvo AWD system is nog good, i don't know on the newer ones but the old v70R AWD always had problemens with the transver box that drives the shaft to the back axle

and the FWD version is lighter so in the end the AWD will be slower and because of the transver box the AWD is less reliable so just go for a FWD with a LSD( an eaton diff will be good enough for road use)
