Concert Variations- By Claude T. Smith
This is the 08-09 Kimmons Jr. High Band, in Arkansas._Directed by Amy Manley! awesome teacher!
Sound quality is kinda bad because of bad camera_sorry about that. AND people in the gym were really noisy!
I'm the one playing the timpani-though u don't hear nor see me play very much. It was an awesome concert, it was very fun!
This is my favorite song. This is the 9nth grade band playing (no 8th or 7th graders)
This song features many instruments and solos-
Trumpet solo,-Jesse R.Trombone solo-Abby Z, Tuba solo-Zach J..
Flute Solo-Jenapher B. French horn solo-Chris K.

  • WHERES THE CRASH CYMBALS?!?!?!?!

  • @hawkplaya94 We are playing this for contest too!!!!!!!

  • playing this song for contest...rockin it!!!

  • @jeffgautreau15 Nah...this song needs a BIG low brass presence...especially in the begining and the end...

  • It's too bad that you can't hear the timpani in this, it's such a fun part to play :) From a percussion standpoint though, there is waaaay too much snare sound but the gym acoustics didn't do you guys any favors in that regard. Good job :)

  • as I tuba player myself, I can say that 5 tubas is to much for this song

  • I was just @ IMC and played this song & I absolutely love it! :) (I was a 3rd chair clarinet)

  • I love this song. Im the fourth trombone and had second part.
