The King of Dragons became a very nice concept for side scrolling beat'em'ups with RPG elements. Yes, this is totally D&D generic set, but I always foudn this rather charming. Up to 3 players simultaneously chosen from 5 classes can fight orcs, dragons, hydras, skelletons, etc. Later in 1994, Capcom ported this to the SNES but only for 2 players. I liek to finish this game from time to time with different classes, but my favorites would come further down the future, alreayd in CPS2 hardware. Still, this is the birth of such series, and it always reminded me of "Magic Sword" as well. Can't go wrong with this one. Hope to see it down the line on the Wii downloadable services.
I loved this game! I want to play D&D: Shadows over Mysteria again
