@guitaaress He's now officially the guy who makes me want to play haha.
He now to me (of course not being around anymore), but then the stuff I learnt to play when I was being taught guitar, allot of the things I learnt off was John Lee Hooker, he's now gone aswell.
Still play some of his stuff myself (I cannot sing though lol).
@guitaaress My hairs went like that about 3 times listening to that.
Only saw him once, did not (and I will admit this), think very much of him back then but I was quite young, but now I truely wish I had appreciated him and wanted to see him allot more.
Such a shame, I don't know what to really say just its incredibly sad he's not around anymore, must be awful if you are a true fan of his though (I can feel it a bit though!)
@simonfrederickson I said the exact same thing to Isaac about this song at The Half Moon Putney in 1995 and he made the exact same reply. Yes he always made the hairs stand on the back of my neck, with a lot of songs but this version of this Dylan song was definitive. He truly is one of the unsung greats.
Back in 71 I had the great privilage of jamming with Isaac in my home after a tremendous performance he'd given at the local club. He allowed me to play his D35s and he played my Ancient D18. Despite his incredible skill even back then far greater than mine, he never made me or anyone else in the room feel embarrased or inadequate. He was a very special talent indeed and I've never understood why he was never a bigger star. It was impossible not to like, admire respect + wonder at his talent RIP
I saw isaac in the Rockingham arms wentworth he blew me away then and still does. Such a loss. He played the song called Late in the evening (simon/garfunkel) that night and i cant find it anywhere. Looks like it will have to remain a treasured memory.
Isaac was an artists artist, his sound quality was exceptional ,an extremely talented guy sadly no longer with us.I am glad i had chance to see him on many occasions such a gifted entertainer, his concerts were a joy,and if there is a concert hall in the afterlife you can guarantee you will find isaac with an audience spell bound , a master of his craft, and sadly missed.
He smiled and answered "you've really thought about that haven't you". :) "yep" I answered and he laughed. The man was a musical genius and probably the best singer/guitarist I ever saw,not to mention a really nice bloke. He made it look so effortless and changed the arrangements so regularly that of all the times I saw him he never played the same arrangement twice, some feat!
Thanks very much Cabronosidad for this wonderful video,a true thing of beauty *flattens hair back down on neck* :)
It just gets better with every listen.

Thanks so much for posting this. I saw Isaac several times in Birkenhead and at Telfords in Chester where he did this as an encore. It was awesome.
