Okay, so this video is pretty self-explanatory. It's about Chloe trying not to love Clark, to just be his friend because Clark is infatuated with Lana, but it is easier sad than done. All Clark has to do is say one nice thing, one romantic gesture or save her life and she slips "into old familiar shoes" -- then she has to start all over again.
I know it's another Sarah McLachlan song, but it fits Chloe's predicament so well. So, enjoy! Please feel free to comment. I love Feedback.

I never ever thought to consider this an "unrequited love" song and now I feel so dumb for not figuring it out earlier. What a great song for the two of them. You really nailed that hopeless longing thing with your timing and choice of clips. Just the way you matched the clips with the lyrics is heart-rending. 2:31-2:32 made me go "ugh" because I knew it was coming, but it still felt like a sock to the gut. Well done!
