This is a list of 10 songs that I think are very good and people should listen to.

I felt the songs went from, happy to sad to angry and finishing off with an awesome song :) I thought it felt kinda like a journey.

I think my absolute favourite is Dusty Road by Deyarmond Edison. The guy is called Justin Vernon (you may know him from Bon Iver) and his songs are just so emotional. Don't get me wrong, I like some of his Bon Iver stuff (such as Skinny Love) but his songs from this band are just sooo good. I recommend listening to Dusty Road with your eyes closed, then listen to The Lake (also by Deyarmond Edison) it just sounds so heartfelt and good. I guess it reminds me of Bruce Springsteen a little bit, I grew up with his songs in the car. (My dad is a massive fan of Springsteen, my middle name is Bruce :P). Anyway, Justin Vernon is amazing.

I know some songs could classed as pop or rock, but they are still indie in a sense. It's kind of hard to define indie. Anyway, just please don't comment saying "oh this is so not indie" because no-one likes annoying hipsters.

Oh my god, this list is all kinds of fucked up. I don't mean to sound mean, but Feist is the only worthwhile artist on there. And no, Foster The People is NOT a must, Broken Social Scene is. Arcade Fire is. Modest Mouse is. Stars is. Check out some of those artists and kiss somebody you love, call up your mom on the phone and tell her everything's fine.
