Set amidst the whimsical world of a children's pizza palace/video game arcade (Chuck‐E‐Cheese on steroids), Play Land tells the touching tale of Mark and Darryl - two estranged brothers (early 30's) who enter this zany land of pizza and prizes with the hope to commit the ultimate heist: stealing the coveted, prize robot that eluded their grasp since childhood. With a quirky backdrop of characters including Chip Cheesy - lead singer of an 80's, pizza-themed rock band - and the nefarious, eye patch wearing Cashier, Play Land manages to walk the fine line of being a heist film, a chase movie and a humorous, heartfelt brother story all set to the soaring soundtrack of Chip Cheesy's epic tunes.
