Competitive ballroom tango can look great as well, but this is not the right music ... and I'm afraid this is not the right couple either. While technicaly most probably great, they just don't dance with the music. They might look great with different music, but ...

This isn't show tango, it's competitive ballroom, and as for looking funny, well when tango first came to Europe that's how the Europeans interpreted it - strict 2/4 time and all. It's just taken a long time for them to get back to the original that's all.

The show-tango people should not dance to Queias de Baudoneon-it looks weird and funny; this is the Argentine tango music.
