Be Successful in Ministry

God defines success in ministry as being faithful, serving others, loving and trusting Him, praying, pursuing holiness, and developing a positive attitude. Ministry is doing what you can. When we are obedient to God's word, it prepares us for life's challenges, problems, and possibilities. As we carry out our ministry Jesus enriches the personal life of his people. Ministry energizes, contrary to the great fear that resources will be depleted if we help others. We hope to do this through our online ministry here with your help and prayers.

Ministry is understanding people's deepest needs, and concerns it's showing them how & why Jesus cares, and how He will provide for them. Ministry is the outcome of our personal relationships with the Lord. It is sharing the beauty of God. It's almost impossible to see a rainbow and not point it out to someone else. It's the kind of thing that just must be shared. You see one and you want to tell someone about it. The gospel is such a beautiful expression of God's love that it just must be shared.


Scriptures: 2 Timothy chapter 2: verse 1-5 (New Living Translation)
Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus. 2 You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.
3 Endure suffering along with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4 Soldiers dont get tied up in the affairs of civilian life, for then they cannot please the officer who enlisted them. 5 And athletes cannot win the prize unless they follow the rules. 6 And hardworking farmers should be the first to enjoy the fruit of their labor. 7 Think about what I am saying. The Lord will help you understand all these things.
