  • hmm. mine have never done that crap. Ive had true dual off long tube headers running flowmaster 40 series 3 inch all the way back on a 383 stroker, 2 1/2 inch cat back on a 1992 honda h22a1, 3 inch turbo back on a 1989 isuzu impulse, and a 40 series on 2000 ford super duty with the v 10. All setups were professional jobs and showed good gains. The most negative sound i ever got on any was the honda exhaust with low pops while driving at 4000 rpm or above going from Wide open throttle to none...

  • Do you have any sound clips of the 383 or the Superduty in Park when they have not been run in several hours?

It doesn't crackle when in drive.

  • sounds like absolute crap! rev, crackle pop crakle, bleh...

  • Any good exhaust will crackle when in neutral and reving the gas. That and the combination of a cold start, you are going to get some poping.
