the fuel comsumption has to be insane, a car ferry traveling at 40 knots (44 mph) is freaking fast.

Now in Michigan Beaches, the wake from those freeries are large and going on my jetski out there and hitting those waves are fun

Its amazing the illusion that you are not really going that fast. But 40knots is going pretty good for a boat this size.
