The Detroit Transit Options for Growth Study (DTOGS), led by the Detroit Department of Transportation, is recommending a light rail transit (LRT) line along approximately eight miles of Woodward Avenue from downtown to Eight Mile Road as the best opportunity to begin building a regional rapid transit system in the Detroit area.
This presentation illustrates the status of the Detroit LRT project design as of March 21, 2008. The intent of this presentation is to represent the general design features and appearance of the future LRT system. Since some of the design elements are still being modified this video may not exactly illustrate the final, built LRT project.
