uhmm where are the deftones?
-
I am a victim of a traumatic brain injury, and had an amazing "recovery"! Though I will never reach my pre accident level, I am one of the lucky few, I am alive and functioning far beyond expectaions! My hopes and prayers are with Chi! from one bumped head to another!

@Rockjesu Modern rock musicians and such aren't rich like many people believe. This type of care takes a LOT of dough, yearly.
-
Caring for someone in this state is a LOT of money , especially when the insurance companies can deny treatment to individuals for a number of reasons deemed "acceptable" standard practice...until it's your family
-
I cannot believe I didn't know about this! I LOVED the Deftones and was shocked to come across an article today, that he is starting to respond and lift his legs on command. I immediately went to the site to donate and it is not loading. Must be getting a TON of traffic today. You're in my prayers Chi, hang in there man!

I think the Deftones (and other bands) have had a yearly concert for donations which usually does the trick. But we're talking a lot of money every year maybe for the rest of Chi's life. That's why I think they have to continue get support from us normal folks, which I have no problem with.
-
@Rockjesu i don't think the Deftones make enough money to pay for Chi's care in full or else they would!
-
His making progress then why are those money hungry Insurance Company not paying for his medical bills.
-
I can't understand it... Deftones... has no money for this???? Chi's family has to ask for money???

@Polyfusia I got my own problems, that seem overwhelming at times. Knowing what Chi has and still is going through, to think i was about to give up is so selfish. Chi went through all that and is still fighting. He had a lot of energy, and if you know that energy doesnt die you can see that Chi has given up his energy for us, but Chi I give it back. You, Polyfusia have a terrible understanding of God and this situation. There is no growth, no progress without loss & suffering. Understand this.
God bless our brother Chi Cheng!
