  • That looks like fun!!

  • @starfleetofficer1 Thanks!

  • shoulda slowed down a little while typing that... sorry.

  • LOL! I do the same sometimes with my fingers or the keyboard not keeping up with my words!

Yeah, I think anything would be better than what we have, but I'd still like to see changes made by someone who truly looks out for the American people, not their special interests. It's like even the best ideas seem to be soiled once they come in contact with slimy politicians on both sides!

    :D

  • Yeah, when it comes to the government and taxes, they are getting something for nothing and no matter how much they take it's never enough for them!

Anyway, our current system is so complex, convoluted and illogical that just about any change would be for the better!

  • LOL! Thanks!

    : )

  • I love Ron Paul's ideas, but frankly I think they may be too extreme for most Americans to deal with. A simple flat tax I believe would eliminate the many loop hole's lawyers and accountants use to help the rich get out of paying their taxes in the first place. How would that favor the rich? It would also ease the paperwork for every individual and government. Sound like saving money? We could still make ammendments to it to ease burdens on families, esp those w/low incomes.

  • LOL! I think in the end it's the TAXES part that ruins any of it! You've got to figure that taxes, no matter how they're done are always going to have waste, inequality and an opportunity for some to benifit more than others!

  • I HATE FLAT TAXES!

  • Actually I have looked into it a lot. I hate the present system as the IRS itself takes a huge amount of the taxes it takes in just to operate, so many loop holes allow a lot of people to pay far less than their fair share, etc. I think that most any other alternative, as long as it's kept simple, would be far, far better than what we have now!
