  • I tried with the iboot from tonymac, press -v -x and appear a lot of words and after a while, the laptop shut down.

Which method you used, Tonymac or IAtkos? If is IATKOS which version you used?

I only can get in to the installation with the Iatkos V5, but i can´t boot after the installation. :(.

    What method recommend me?

  • @BRINGROFDEATH24 i wouldn't recommend distros. Use tonymac and a puschased installation disk. You have an alienware ? download that iBoot GE version, and use -v -x. I cant help much withouth knowing the exact config of your machine. But all that said, It will never work as smooth as a mac, jus because it's not built for that OS. If u want to try & jus get it working, i understand how you feel, but i need more details for me to help.

  • Hi, I was trying with IAtkos V7, iBoot by Tonymacx86 and Iatkos s3, The Iboot bye tonymac was the best worked; I put the Iboot and when i put the CD of Snow Leopard 10.6 and pressed F5 to loaded it, but when starts with the Gray Apple and the Bakcground White, Shut Down and I started again to the boot menu, etc..., I tried with a boot Verbose, Single User and ignoring caches, and seems that with Ignoring Caches run it, but after a little bit Appears the gray label with japanese words. Help Me pl

  • @BRINGROFDEATH24 after you press F5, type -v -x and enter. it's safe mode, and it will get the installation going.
