My 9's current afternoon game show lineup is pretty decent. Now they have a full hour of Steve Harvey's Feud at 1 followed by a full hour of Don't Forget the Lyrics at 2.
-
@WhatsAYak Exactly, the 4:00 Movie aired at 4pm, syndicated Feud was in its last season on WNBC.
-
Channel 9 would have afternoon game show blocks from here all the way until their Love in the Afternoon lineup in 1989.
-
Fall 1987 saw Pyramid paired with Truth or Consequences until TOC got cancelled quite soon after its premiere.

Actually, WOR-TV aired "The Joker's Wild" at 2:00pm, "Tic Tac Dough" at 2:30pm, "The Dating Game" at 3:00pm, "The Newlywed Game" at 3:30pm, "The All New Let's Make a Deal" at 4:00pm and "Family Feud" at 4:30pm every weekday afternoon back in 1984.

@TimFrith24 - They couldn't have...LMaD was on WCBS at 9 AM for its 1st season, and those Best of FF reruns didn't start until the 85-86 season.

@WhatsAYak And then wasn't it still on WCBS for the second season, the only difference being that they moved it to 12:00 after The Price is Right?
(Tim, WNBC should still have been airing Feud at that point.)

@fatmanfiftythousand - No, LMaD moved to 2 or 2:30 PM on Ch. 9 for its 2nd season...WCBS was running Body Language in the noon slot until PYL took it over in Jan 86.

Was I seeing things on the Dating Game? Was that Pee Wee Herman as one of the perspective dates?

@NJTank - No, you weren't seeing things, and yes it was...he appeared on the syndicated version in 1979, I believe.
