Hyperinflation! Get out of US Dollars! Get into Gold! Inflation is coming! Inflation is coming!

People know that I sort of scoff at that concept.

But on the other hand? Many people hear: Hyperdeflation! Get into the US Dollar! Get out of Gold! Hyper deflation is coming!

Who are you to believe? What's going on? Can you protect yourself both ways?

For SIX THOUSAND RECORDED YEARS of human history, the ruled have been told: Hey, this system will free you! This guy will free you! This economy will free you! This republic will work! People fall for it every single time.

I refuse to play at that game. Thus, when it comes to human governments . . . . I ... don't .... care

So ... where has all of this 'trying to change their government' business? Gotten you? More free? Or just a slave to someone elses concept of taking you for a ride to their concept of freedom.

It absolutely amazes me that people will trade one form of slavery for another in the name of 'government' for the illusion that their masters will grant them more freedom.

I stopped falling for that line a long time ago.
