Clips of Gene Siskel on AFI's 100 Year, 100 Movies for 1998. Gene contributes to four movies on the list, or at least that is what they show. He no doubt had takes on many more movies that they left out. In my opinion, they had way too much Whoopi Goldberg and Susan Lucci.

  • I always wonder, after watching a new film, if Gene Siskel would have enjoyed the film. RIP Gene.

  • Can you post this whole show

  • @swine74 overrated... maybe, but still bloddy excellent.

  • I think the only film that stands a chance to be on Citizen Kane's level is Schindler's List. It's another perfect film. What Spielberg does that a lot of directors at the time didn't do was he showed us an authentic portrait of the Holocaust and WWII. They're both masterpieces.

  • "I'm not going to end up like 'Citizen Kane' did."

Whatever you say, Ted. Whatever you say.

  • Fargo is overrated

  • @Sleepingsparklegirl.No.include me .i think Citizen kane is the greatest movie ever made for people who are involved in the business of movie making...because the way they c a movie is different to the way we c a movie.we dont look at a scene and wonder how they must have shot it, and what camera tracking angle they must have used, they do...we look at the charachters and feel for them...hence it didnt appeal to me either for it was just a sad story of the rise and fall of a self obsessed man

  • I must be the only person in this world that doesn't like citzen cane.

  • @LukeLovesRose you're right, you do sound outrageous

  • You think you know it, but every time you see it, you see new stuff. That's Kane and that's very few other movies. I know this may sound outrageous, but James Cameron's masterpieces are in that category.
