This was an installation of buildings/boxes made to look like buildings with local archtecture collaged and wheatpasted. These buildings were set on wheels and were designed to allow people to physically manipulate their surroundings. On some of the buildings were green garden/park roof tops, and some had chalkboard billboards for people to write their own messages on. The large building in the center gives you the option of being passive or proactive. There is a suggestion box or perhaps an opportunity to let your representative know how you feel. Upon inserting the suggestion into the box, it's instantly shredded and disgarded. The other option was to openly and publically address the people and know that your opinions will be heard and potentially considered and acted upon instead of wondering if your letter will ever make and difference.

This installation was part of the Repressed III exhbit for socially conscious artwork at Gallery 5 in Richmond, Virginia
