This videoclip was taken June 16, 2009. Our four geese are in there with 16 other Canada geese, ten snow geese, ten greater white-fronted geese, countless ducks, and a lone sandhill crane and tundra swan. The waterfowl have been indoors since late November so they've been confined inside for almost seven months. The sandhill crane seems frustrated, pecking repeatedly at the metal grate along the wall. He seems to be saying, "Get me out of here!" Who can blame him? It's sunny and warm outside and he hasn't felt the sun nor fed in a natural environment for a very long time. We would all want to get outta there!
