Beast~Terrence Mann
Cogsworth~Fred Applegate
Lumiere~Gary Beach
Belle~Susan Egan

"And, as I always, say, 'If it's not baroque, don't fix it!' "

"Niiiiiiice going!"

"Promise or no, promise, I won't stay here!"

"I didn't mean to frighten you...I didn't mean to hurt you! You don't understand...there's so little left of me..."

*NOTE*~In this version, there's so much more tension added to the West Wing. Beast chases Belle and even rips her sleeve, and Belle runs away truly believing she is in danger at the castle. What follows is one of the best Act One finales since The Phantom of the Opera, where the Beast sings of his despair in the beautifully tragic show stopper "If I Can't Love Her". During the bridge, the castle turns around and the Beast sings from the balcony in front of a sky full of stars and clouds obscuring the rest of the castle. The illusion is very convincing and beautiful at the same time, adding so much to this atmosphere, and by the time the curtain came down, I had tears in my eyes.

  • Was Cogsworth talking in an echoey sort of voice by any chance? Was that why people were laughing?

  • @spiritgirl41192 He was speaking through a megaphone, that's why he sounds like that and why people were laughing

  • By any chance do you have the actual video clips?

  • Oh how I wish I did munkustrap4r. The video clips I got the audio from were up not too long ago (though I wasn't the one who uploaded them), but of course someone found out and they were deleted. I hope somebody will put them on youtube again soon, but for now all I can give are the music and my memories
