It is important to play tight when starting in a tournament. From my experience, I rarely see maniacs make it to the final table and usually maniacs get eliminated quickly. Sure some maniacs might survive to the end after changing to tight towards the middle. Towards the ending when the blinds are higher, then you can loosen up or else you'll never play a hand. Your comment is from your experience, and I can guess that maybe you haven't been playing really good poker players. Good luck.
Are you fudging serious? You should play tighter in Tournament? WTF. If you play tighter than you do in cash, you will literally never become a good tourney player. This shit is junk.
