Matthew 3:12 is refering to the sanctifying of the soul by the Holy Spirit (the "fire") it's not in the context of the rapture in any way.The previous verse Matthew 3:11 directly refers to the Holy Spirit, so how you can suddenly interpret the rapture into this is scripture twisting.It's so easy for anyone to pull verses out of context and misinterpret them, which is why we have so many different denominations.

1. When Jesus comes for his church, every eye should see Him. So, How come those who left behind accept the antichrist if they saw Jesus coming and the church lifted up? There will be no ground for the antichrist to come to the power.

Even NOW as we take in the breathe of GOD with ease (without fear of persecution; at least for present moment) our brethren throughout the world are literally dying in communist & islamic countries for the sake of The Gospel of Christ. They like others who have gone on before them IN The Body of Christ they will be rewarded for their unwavering faithfulness. The Pre-Trib Rapture IS a damnable heresy, however GOD WILL preserve His People unto the end.

@Popinion7 Rev 18 is referring to the capitalist nations (i.e., U.S.A., U.K. etc.). kings have commited fornication with her (babylon). Merchants have traded with her. She is burned with fire. It makes more sense to equate mystery babylon with those nations than with the roman catholic church.

This man doesn't make the difference between the Church and the Tribulation saints, he does not take into consideration that the church disappears after Revelation chapter 3 to only reappear in Revelation chapter 19, no mention of the church between these 2 chapters...Study to show thyself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15)

Our Salvation IS secure in Christ, IF we have been DRAWN to Him by The Father. The Flesh profits NOTHING! Generally speaking, when one truly thinks about it, the pre trib rapture appeals ONLY to the flesh of man & self preservation. I've never truly believed in pre trib because it goes AGAINST the True teachings of the Holy Bible & the history of The Church. Since the conception of The Church until this present day, The Church of GOD has been persecuted for The Faith we have received of GOD.

The Pre-Trib RAPTURE is one of the greatest DECEPTION facing The Church in these last days. Stan is absolutely correct regarding how The Church will be mocked & ridiculed by disbelievers (from 1:40 - 2:01) because of "so-called professing" believers who held onto a belief system that IS unbiblical.
