The idea that fashion needs to be deep or individual is old. obviously, everyone has some unique mix of style(even if it's uniqlo, who's model is lack of any particular style) but seriously, we've had Warhol, we have Disney pop acts aping whatever trendy genre/style they can, and a whole weird mash of genre/style happenings. Tavi gets this. It's nothing "new",just a logical progression of old.
Enjoy yourself. Take only what you need from it.

taken out of context, her witty blogs look supposedly 'hip' and cool. but if you dont know her apparantly 'cool' background, she looks like the weird, opinionated, geeky kid at school. just cause she's in the BLOGOSPHEREEE why is she suddenly percieved by the hipster masses as some inspirational fashionista? stand back, look at her, listen to her. theres nothing deep or individual here. jesus christ
