Sea Lions at Avila Beach Fishing Pier

We saw these sea lions while visiting the fishing pier in Avila Beach, California. They came right up to the pier and examined us----I think they were asking, "Got any fish?" Very cool video. Great explanation of the Port San Luis Pier area.

This is the Port San Luis Pier. There are a couple of fish markets, one with an outside café. At the end of the pier is the Olde Port Inn restaurant. Near the end of pier, just outside of the restaurant, there is a narrow set of stairs that go to a small dock under the pier. There is a sign that read, Warning, Sea Lions Bite. There may be a number of large sea lions lying all over this little dock. Have fun!
