@AlexBondMX The hospital takes international volunteers, but there is a waiting list. Or you can adopt a koala which is a form of sponsorship. Just google "koala hospital" and the web site will come up.

@Doosb0x How observant of you - not. The reason the camer's at chest level is because the woman holding the baby koala is holding her to her chest, and the other women standing alongside who are in shot are also therefore being shown at chest level. Duh.

@PillowDood Mean, vicious beasts? I doubt it very much! They are wild animals and any wild animal, if it feels threatened or scared, etc, could be aggressive but animals are not mean or malicious, like some humans can be. Also, any wild animal shouldn't be kept as a pet.

They are wild animals, not pets. Any wild animal will try to defend itself if threatened, koalas probably less so than most. Wild animals should stay wild.
