  • Im a so called "african-american" whos been brainwashed by my white oppressors and captors with dreadful, horrendous images of africa. Wars, famine, plague, corruption, riots, epidemics, mass malnourishment, etc. This is all the amerikkkan media ever shows of africa. ITs the same whether its a so called "liberal" news station or a so called "conservative" news station. Its deliberate and premeditated as well. It certainly causes anti-african sentiment amongst blacks in the u.s.

  • @aaronjell

    have to agree lol

  • i was there, when it happened and i will be there, gosh i miss home

  • As a white Brit in Zim this year and for the elections last year I can say withot a doubt that I returned just fine and dandy!

I guess it is about attitude and the respect you show people... politics aside, Zim is safer than the UK IMO ;)

  • Yeah Zimbabwe is great.... and really safe??? You can trust your privacy will be protected and you can rely on a growing economy, comrade??? I especially like the way elections go and the freedom enjoyed by those who would like to run for the office of the president is amazing. Just watch out for being tried for treason, punishable by death. Yeah... it's all "rediculous" How about ridiculous too? The red star and the finger pointing tell it all. Shall I visit?

  • erm...absolutely rediculous. some of these pictures are clearly dated 2006! And there is no logical reason to assume they are pre-2000

I never understand you Rhodesians?? Anyways I was in Zim this August...it looks absolutely amazing, especially with the new GNU.

Joina centre will be completed this year. It will be the new tallest building and largest shopping centre in Zim...when it's completed, please don't claim it was completed under Ian Smith. I know it is a propensity for you people.

  • @Rhodiegirl

Having seen these pics over and over again over the years, also by estimating the dates of the newest building construction depicted, I estimate some photos to be from 1991 (the pretty park scenes) -1993 and others to be from about 1997. Yes, not recent. Sad.

  • Hi could you let me know when these pics were taken.

  • Excellent pics... can we talk?
