I think that she's an unique gymnast. The hair shouldn't matter, it makes her stand out. Cookie cutter gymnasts aren't always what's ideal.

If only she would have hit this at worlds!! She could have won the gold in event finals. Just think she was US champion. Rebecca Bross had the highest floor score at Worlds and Allie finished fourth in EF finals. Maddie way outscored both of them at Nationals. Stunning dance + Beautiful choreography= great performance:)

I agree with the hair comment. I was a high performance gymnast (olympic level) for canada and I never had hair like that. My coach would have killed me.

@mwright1986 at my gym we are required to wear our hair in neat buns and hairsprayed for meets.
