The only reason it has potential is because of the fact it's light, but still stock it's not so great, but then again, its not meant to be fast its for economy. The suspension is average, it's still front wheel drive, the transmission isn't bad, but the braking still isn't too good. You have to swap the engine to get any real performance. Any car can be fast with money, it's just the fact that it's funny that the mods costed probably more than the car. Not bad for a fit tho lol.

@papaown apparently someone here is misinformed or just downright ignorant. yes, the fit stock sucks balls and can't do jack shit but cruise around and relax in, but a modded fit can stand it's ground and i mean STAND it's ground tall, against many cars out on the track. an evo got butt fucked by a fit in the superstreet time attack. a fit also holds a record on the tsukuba circuit. the fit beats many cars because of its cornering. before you post these ignorant comments, do some research.
