Had a great opportunity to work with Darren from BGPR race school. What a great improvement after working with him.
Some footage from Darren's onboard camera doing a video session of me trying to chase down a GSXR1000 at Race City Speedway
I almost eat it on the last part of the video coming onto the last straight... that wasn't too fun!

So the dampers keep the bike from doing the twist? (Asking because I want to get one I have my license just not the bike and I'm gonna take the advanced rider courses when I get it, no squid here either) By the way Nice, you kept your cool the whole time, if it were me I would've pooped a little :D

The steering damper just keeps the front end from slapping around. It's not totally needed unless you're pushing the bike pretty hard. Oh I was a little bit freaked out when it was happening!

Why did the bike start wiggling around like that during the last straight?

It's from accelerating and the front gets a bit light while it tracks the grooves in the asphalt. Once it does that it bounces the wheel around side to side creating a tank slapper. I had the stock steering damper then, now I have upgraded to a Matris M4R damper that works awesome.
