Being creative takes some skill. To prepare your mind and imagination for developing ideas, you need to know how to get ideas flowing. Creative writing involves asking lots of questions. Here is how to begin getting ideas. Here is how The Dragons of Ordinary Farm started.

  • Tad Williams is a great author, loved OTHERLAND and I am currently reading SHADOWPLAY. God Bless him and all writers like Dr. Suess who stimulated the minds of children and made them want to read.

  • @Gonko100 that's ridiculous. The "philosophical depth" is just "deep" enough, the narrative of Tad's work is unrivalled. I doubt Tad is trying to compete with Borges.

  • "Giant fish-heating monkeys." I'll repeat that, "giant fish-eating monkeys!"

    (Quoting Tad Williams, of course).

  • @DieZeit03 If ever there were a book that simply HAD to be written.....its a tie between Otherland, and the Holy Bible. And the Holy Bible is questionable.

  • Tad Wins All. There you go. There is your blatant promotion for the day. Ill be sure to spam up your other videos with blatant Tad Williams promotion as well.

  • im reading that right now and i could totally see it as an epic movie

  • thats my daddy! I did the voices when I was nine. I'm always squeaky on camera
