Rock Is Dead - Pt 1

"Rock Is Dead" is a title I gave to a project I started in 1999 after reading a letter to the editor in the SD Reader where someone claimed that "Rock (and roll) is dead in San Diego...", that there wasn't any life to the music scene here. Of course I thought the reader was clearly ignorant, and his/her words inspired me to document the "dead music scene" of San Diego, to directly prove their claim false.

This footage is from some unknown date, of some band that I can't recall 11 years later,...probably a Saturday night at the Ché Café. Cattle Decapitation played this night as well.
