  • Guys, Please, I'll call it whatever you want. We did this a long time ago and found an Audel's book of woodcraft that called it by both terms.

  • @capneddie Just keep on doing things just how you do. You do a great job, and I personally don't care what you call anything, the content is awesome and that is why I watch your videos.

  • could you use food coloring instead of ink to stain the wood???

  • Cap. no disrespect, but tendons are cartilage that connects muscle tissue to bone. Tenons are what you are making are used in wood working, If you read tendon in a book that guy needed a better prof reader. I am a big fan of yours, please don't be offended, but stop with the tendons, wood turners are smarter than that. Thanks.

  • I wish I had admirers who would send me big pieces of cocobolo timber.

As a possible grip on the tail stock chuck, try some off cuts of industrial rubber hose with a thick wall 3/8 - 1/2 inch thick. You would need to press it on, you would have trouble doing it by hand. With the increase in diameter you will get great increase in power you can apply and the canvas around the outside of those hoses gives great grip

  • cool

  • Thanks for the great video. Today I made a handle for your 3/8 round cutter in Mahogany. And I have to tell you it cuts like a hot knife trough butter, made 12" mahogany plate with it. I'll send you pictures of them.
