Everybody needs a little time away
I heard her say
From each other
Even lovers need a holiday
Far away from each other

Hold me now
It's hard for me to say I'm sorry
I just want you to stay

  • This is mid 1990's hardcore, no argument here....Ive been DJin/Producing for over 15 years now and the genre names have evolved somewhat, thats all. Its even impossible to compare trance or techno from that era, to the same trance/techno of today......That above tune may sound a bit dated today, but if you'd have been at a happyhardcore club in the UK when this music was at its peak, you would have had the time of your life.......So let us keep our memories and you go back to your minimal shite

  • ..and gurning to it ;)

  • @belfastchild76 Those times in the nighties was the future. They way music and the scene evolved was unreal.

  • if not mistaken hardcore paved the way for most of the dance styles that people hear 2day. COCK

  • ....Trance, in the 'real' UK underground rave scene, has never been known as techno, as might people from the continent might refer to it. I admit that globally techno is the overall name for all Electronica based music but in the UK rave scene it actually had it's own terminology that I & many hundreds of thousands before & after me are very aware of.

  • @ Barrella: I get the impression you are farely young or just totally unattached to the 'UK' Hardcore (happy hardcore as it was known at the time) scene during the 90's. This stuff was massive getting banged out to crowds in excess of 20k peeps. If you are more familiar harder (gabber) sound (referred to as techno in the UK during the same period), that was the hardcore sound dominant on the continent, in particular in Holland........(continued)

  • @Pristineuk there is difinately a reason for this.

  • @Pristineuk there is definately a reason for this.
