From original 8mm home movies of Warren W. Scholl(Greg's Father) Norfolk and Western Steam on freight trains between 1954-1960. Rare footage on the Cincinnati-Portsmouth line, and much more including Portsmouth and Williamson in 1959-1960. Types shown include 0-8-0's, 4-8-2's(K1 class), 2-8-8-2's(Y class 2-8-8-2's and 2-6-6-4(1200 series Class A). Steam ended on the Cincinnati line in mid 1956, so there is little film coverage of this area. Copyright Greg Scholl Video Productions

This is one of the most enjoyable vintage steam programs that I have ever seen. Not only does it document the final days of steam on the N&W, it does so in a manner that is heartfelt and emotional.
