@GeneralBulldog54 Boston Legal? Yeah it was. It made syndication money which is rare when inter-network politics work against you. The fact that it had many of the desirable demographics kinda helped as well.

@MrLunitunz It was lucky enough to make 100 episodes.

@Omili boston legal is just a spin off...and the alan shore in the practice was MUCH MUCH MUCH better...boston legal madehim in a PUSSY!...he actualy follows the RULES in boston legal

@Kiattilin judges and cops? hahaha

@77magenta His firm loses almost everything in 'The Practice'. Does a 180 in BL though.

@EnglishStan HEY, WITH ALLAN SHORE, DOES ANYONE EVER GET CONVICTED? HAHAHAHAHA
-
The three parter with Patrick Dempsey was totally awesome, it was definitely my favorite of all BL and TP

@manadar Well you know. Like many of David E Kelley's shows, once some of the key cast members left some of their good material went with them.
But, speaking strictly of Season 8 of The Practice, it had some great multi-part episodes that really showed you how intricate and layered Alan Shore was. For example, the three parter where he defended his childhood friend in a murder trial, or the fall-out from his firing that lead to the set-up of Boston Legal. He was darker here, and I loved it.

Can't really argue there, it was still quality TV in the 5th series and i prefered it to 98% of the Bullsh** that is shown on TV, but in my opinion u could see that the ideas were going out, which happens in episodic series. They are great to just dip into, but what i loved about the practice and other series e.g. Dexter is that with a continuing plot over 3 or more episodes u can tell better stories that are more thrilling and intense.
I hadn't known there was an Alan Shore before Boston Legal. Was Alan in The Practice from the beginning, or just from a certain season on?

Sorry dude, I was being lazy with my reply. He was never charged because the murder weapon was never found. The episode is called "Concealing Evidence" so I guess you can figure out what happened ;-)
