I have since learned that Halogen work lights don't flicker. Taking my Pride & Joy (my camera) to Lowe's tomorrow to see if that's true. I will report my progress :-)

@SloMoHolic yeah I was actually also thinking of the lighting conditions... you seemed to have solved the problem fairly fell!
Also good that you have some nice trick skills otherwise it would still be boring with the best high-speed camera and the best lighting conditions! :P

@SlaveZero1234 Thanks, pool is my passion and one of the main reasons I wanted this camera. Took lots of time trying to figure out lighting (pool halls are dark!), and the flicker was killer at first, but about 19 light bulbs and some VDub action made it pretty smooth. Mucho recommendo VDub + deFlicker por Los SloMoHolicos.

@taufledermaus If you look closely you'll see your Shutter Priority tips in action. Thanks for all your help so far; a lot of the framing and composition is inspired by your videos. Round 2 of Pool is gonna be wicked.
