  • UPDATE: I was finally able to access my account again. Sad to say this tank is no longer running. It broke at the seem in the lower left corner and flooded my basement. Crappy craftsmanship I guess. All the fish survived and are displayed at a Atlanta business in their show tank. I will not be starting it back up cause the tank is not able to be repaired. Glad all if you liked the videos I did load of it. Thanks for the great comments!!!

  • what kind of light setup do you have in there? do you use metal halides or only fluorescence bulbs?

  • Only compact fluorescence bulbs. A total of 260watts. thats all.

  • is that an acrylic aquarium? the glass seems so clear. nice job looks great

  • Yes it is acrylic. It would be too heavy for me if it was glass. Thanks for the comment!

  • i have spent like $2,000 and my tank is not near as good as yours.not even half as good.you must have gotten a good deal or somthing!wouldent all that live rock coast you like a thousand dollars.

  • Thanks for the comments. Well the tank is retail price from an aquarium builder local. Also the Live Rock I bought off of people breaking down tanks. I'm always on the local forums buying stuff. Live rock normally goes for about $2 to $2.50 a pound! Great Buys!

  • @Juston51 yea i also got a great deal on my live rock. it was actually a guy with a reef business but he didn't do so well so he sold like 3000 pounds of live rock and i bout 250 pounds for 50 cents a pound... it was fully cured to i got to pic out the pieced from the water and everything.

  • @TheVideoGameProdiGs If it's hair algea then a small scopus tang will eat it. Some people get all upset about tangs being in anything 55gal or smaller. My yellow tang and scopus tang eat hair algea but I guess some don't. I had a lawn mower blenny and he didnt eat any algea growing in the tank. I had to buy special dried algea for him lol.

  • Can someone tell me what is the best way to get rid of long green algae in my tank my glass is covered and i can't seem to get rid of it. Is there any saltwater fish that will get rid of it that i can put in my 55 gallon i was thinking some type of blenny.

  • I like how your fish all move in a group like that at 1:10

  • thats not a 400 gallon tank.... mines main display tank is 472 gallons and it looks wayyyy bigger then urs

  • sorry that is not 400 gallons lol

  • I'd put a zero behind that for what is involved in that tank. Even then, i'd be suprised if it wasn't more than that.

  • 400 WOW your so fucking rich thats like over 2000$ DAMN DAMN!

  • Well if you have family that can feed you're tank i guess. ( or friends )
