I understand this "Bloody Mary" you ALL speak of is the queen of the castle in Spain whose children died, right?

At least it's comforting to know that my attacks were meant to do less than 5 damage. Now all I have to do is arm myself with patience and beat her...

What level is it that you're supposed to have to actually deal decent damage? I'm on twentysomething.

Anyone who's played Terranigma should understand how the level up system works. Put simply, below a certain strength stat, you will deal very little damage to enemies. As soon as you exceed that str. value the damage you deal rises rapidly. As such, a boss can take forever to beat on level 18, but die rather quickly on level 19.

It's actually quite easy - the only "challenge", if you can call it that, is that she has a ton of HP which makes for half an hour of a fight.

I was 22 when I fought her and I was dealing an astounding 3-4 damage per hit with Slicer. If you're at level 25 of higher, she drops rather quickly. Also, apparently Electric magic deals ~30 a shot to her.

I went into the fight with bloody mary under leveled and what I had before me was the longest boss fight I have ever done. Every attack only doing 1 damage. This song has scarred my mind!!!!

Well, only thing you have to do is run and attack. Most simple boss in the game i think.

Are you kidding?  Fighting Bloody Mary with no magic is the most thrilling challenge in this game! There's a reason so many Youtube videos and comments deal with the topic...
