i want a tympani

Different kinds of shafts to choose from... beating with long, hard strokes.. a nice slow motion to and from the head...
We are still talking about the tympani here, right?

Por que? No, no, you got like half of that right. I obviously don't give two shits about who you are, and I was not asking for you to give me your "identity or credentials", I was making a fucking joke, dude. I'm not a homophobe, I'm the exact opposite. But yes, I was trolling, and this did all transpire on Youtube. Yeah, so you did get about half of that right.
And Jesus, that was like a month and a half ago.

@Socioistic If he's so good then why isn't he in the Air Force or the London Phil? There's a reason why the Army is the only branch of the United States' military that puts its musicians in harm's way. Nice try, but I'm not disclosing my identity or credentials to a homophobic youtube troll.

And who are you? He's in the fucking army, and you're some faggot on youtube, so you obviously know more than him.

Anyone who ever acknowledges the term "pressure point" will have an abrasive and bright sound. German grip isn't used by many timpanists but it can still get a darker sound than this clown's. Never apply pressure to any percussive striking implement when playing, always stay as loose as humanly possible. Unless abrasion is called for, of course.
