Shriekfest is my annual kick off to the Halloween season, and this year it was awesome to see some of my freinds get awards for their respective fims!
Every Year Denise Gossett hosts what is truly an indie film festival. She steers clear of the films that already have distribution in place and showcases films that you would have a hard time finding anywhere else!

Nothing against Spooky Dan, but Shriekfest is a total fucking joke. It seems to me the only people who get recognition are the cretins and Neanderthals who show up and blow all the drooling judges. Indicative of the competition are the titles that end up winning. Just go to the website. You'll see quacks like "Trunk or Treat," "Ain't No Wolves Around Here," "Lightning in the Bottle," "So Pretty," "Alien Moon," "Lullaby," "Perchance to Dream," take from The Twilight Zone and "Valentines Night."

SpookyDan...cool behind the scenes. Loved your interview with Jack Daniel Stanley. I worked on 2 of those 4 films and it was fun to see him showing his sly humor!
