33 Seconds Minesweeper Expert (Former World Record)

15th June 2010: Kamil takes the world record back by getting 31.89 on 103 3BV (80 ZiNi). His record is the reply to this video.

Just 7 days after breaking 40 seconds barrier with 38.72s (39s), Ian Fraser (UK) sets a new WORLD RECORD for Minesweeper's Expert level with 32.95s (33s) beating the former best time of 34.65 (35s) set by Kamil Muranski (Poland) by 2 integer seconds.

The version Ian used for his record is called 'Minesweeper Arbiter' (v47 debug4) and is a so-called clone of the original Minesweeper that comes with MSWindows. Highscores on the Minesweeper World Ranking are only accepted if they were achieved on one of the follwing cheat-safe versions: 'Minesweeper Arbiter', 'Minesweeper Clone', 'Minesweeper X' and 'Viennasweeper'

Please keep in mind that in Minesweeper the timer starts from 1.00s, which means that though Ian's score will be listed as 33.95s in the rankings, it took him in fact only 32.95s to solve the board. Because of that next to all realtime scores the integer scores are shown in brackets as they do count for the rankings.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT CALL THIS VIDEO A FAKE! This is the new world record, we are 100% sure it was not cheated, 5-6 clicks per second is easily doable, this is the record for the shortest time to solve a board and not for the highest solving speed!!! @overby1796: i just read through all the comments i replied to and found nothing wrong in my responses. every comment got an adequate response whenever there is a need for one. i think that nobody who has a sense of humour, is aware that youtube is the internet equivalent of the walls of a public restroom and believes that exceptionally good achievements deserve some respect ("be nice or be quiet" ;) ) won't mind the comments i made. i do my best to delete the worst comments.

hit 81 seconds the other day on expert, i was just watch some tv online and doing it mindlessly and when i looked at my score i was like "da fuck?!"
