By the way. P.S.Japan sexual crimes are one of the lowest around the world. Wile some other contries with censoring programs and there stupid regulations have a very high rate. I WONDER WHY? Some people have nothing better to do than step on some others peoples business. Everyone is a critic.

The Otaku sub culture of Japan is essential to the world, it brings people of many nationalities around the world together. Yes there are some people that take it too far but that is to be expected in any type of culture, etc. I see that all the time with other type of people who I won't mention for the sake of argument.

@BlizzardtheWolf97 My brother moved to Japan shortly after graduating college it had been a dream of his forever.

Long story short, it ended up being a horrible experience. Japanese people apparently still hold grudges against America and racism against people from the US is accepted.

Example:

One of the first nights in Japan he went to a night club, and waited in line for 3+ hours only to be told straight up he is not getting in because he is American. Sorry 4 rant.

I like anime and manga and things like that, but I really don't have an opinion on Japan as a whole. :T

It's hard to judge an entire nation, really it's pretty much impossible, because countries in general are simply too multifaceted and diverse for anyone to come to one rational consensus on them.

I'd love to visit Japan someday, but to live there? Goodness, nooooo.

@IlSH2 Japanese sex crimes are not one of the lowest in the world. Groping on trains, legal to have child porn (not sell it, just have it), and pedophilia is rampant. Lived there from 2001 to July this year (2011) so I know.
