On September 9, 2011, Shanghai Fashion Centre was filled with some of China's most stylish crowd. Among those who were there to witness Shanghai Tang's Autumn/Winter 2011 fashion show "From China with Love" were celebrities such as Taiwanese model Bianca Bai, renowned Chinese actress Liu Tao, models Tong Chen Jie and Hu Dong, renowned music producer Zhang Ya Dong, famous photographer Chen Man, brand ambassadors Lin Chiling and Hu Bing, and Shanghai Tang's Executive Chairman Raphael le Masne de Chermont.
With the Autumn/Winter collection drawing from diverse inspirations - from the riches of the historic Silk Road to the craftsmanship of contemporary ethnic minorities, the spectacular show presented contemporary pieces with subtle references to the latest trends and bespoke-quality details, re-interpreting the ancient civilisation's grand traditions, presenting a new sense of modern luxury.
