Duran Duran is one of the most iconic and successful rock bands from the '80s. Formed in England in 1978, Duran Duran is John Taylor (bass), Simon Le Bon (vocals), Nick Rhodes (keyboards), and Roger Taylor (drums). They have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, have had 14 songs in the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart and 21 songs in the Billboard Top 100 Chart, and were pioneers in the evolution of the music video with their use of professional directors and 35mm film (not to mention their fashion). In the mid-'80s, members of Duran Duran also participated in two side projects, Power Station and Arcadia. The band has released 12 studio albums since their 1981 self-titled debut, including Rio (which was named one of NME's 100 Greatest Albums Of All Time). They are currently working on their 13th album with producer Mark Ronson, hopefully to be released in 2010.

  • the title of this video seems a bit 'wrong' lmao.

  • They agreed and seemed a bit chuffed about it (at least John did). We interviewed them separately. John was a bit more personable and willing to have a conversation; Simon started off politely answering my questions and then quickly took over the interview to act as host and subject himself. Which was fine by me, it made my job easier. ;)

    Glad you all enjoyed it!

  • @amoebaelectro thats simon for ya:)

  • John has better taste in music, but needs his eyebrows plucked.

  • @amoebaelectro TO BE EXPECTED lol

  • @sclapione Hey! I love Devo too, and I'm not part of the same generation as he. I just didn't expect that because back in the late 70's when DD was formed they were inspired by David Bowie, Roxy Music, etc... and I can't be sure but I don't think Devo was part of that movement at all.

  • @garamonde Most people of his generation liked Devo ?

  • @moxie96 the guy interviewing him says its in SF

  • Which branch are they in LA or SF?
