The awesome interactive musical experience known as Human Aquarium at the Maker Faire in Newcastle 2010. These lovely people were playing pretty much all weekend, and every single performance was unique. The science of how, exactly, is a little bit above us, but to the best of our understanding it works because the glass at the front of the aquarium is somehow sensitive to touch. As people drag their hands across the glass, it affects the pitch, tone etc of the music. Either way, it was pretty much the most awesome thing that we saw all weekend.
