Seeing as the new Oasis B Side, Those Swollen Hand Blues, opens with the same sounds heard at the end of Mucky Fingers, it would seem that these two songs were originally meant to go together on Dont Believe The Truth.
I thought i would try and mix them together to get an idea of how they would have flowed by using the preview clip form Amazon.co.uk

I wasn't that big a fan of TSHB...but it actually sounds kind of cool like this. It's a crazy mellow and depressing song to listen to on it's own.
But listening to it following the intensity of MF...it feels like a welcome relief instead.

I use to edit music and make transitions between songs and this was really neat
The first picture was cool as hell...
second one, I wished you could create a scratcy black white looking video of Noel playing Those swollen hand Blues in front of 50,000 fans and make it look like back in 1967 or something cuz I think that was the intention of a sound like that

i knew it!!!! my brother (a supposed oasis fan) didn't believe me when i said that the ending of mucky fingers goes with "those swollen hand blues". Bring on a 2nd masterplan!

Noel wanted Mucky Fingers to be first single off DBTT - both that and Those Swollen Hand Blues were recorded at the same place presumably the same time - Those Swollen Hand Blues was probably intended as the B-side for Mucky Fingers before Lyla was written - hence why they appear to fade into each other. Just a theory
